Why engineers choose SimuPipe

Drag & Drop

Build pipe networks visually with 10+ component types — pumps, valves, tanks, fittings, and more.

Real Physics

Darcy-Weisbach friction, minor loss K-factors, pump curves, and compressible gas flow — all calculated automatically.

Instant Results

See pressure drops, velocities, and flow rates overlaid directly on your network diagram.

Everything you need to design pipe networks

From simple water supply lines to complex compressed air systems, SimuPipe handles it all.

Configure every component

Select any node to edit its properties — valve Cv/Kv, IEC 60534 gas sizing parameters, pump curves, pipe schedules, and more. All parameters update the simulation in real time.

Detailed simulation reports

View results in tabular format with pressure, velocity, and flow data for every node and pipe. Export to CSV, Excel, or PDF for documentation and review.

Light and dark themes

Work comfortably day or night. SimuPipe adapts to your system preference or lets you choose your own theme in settings.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is SimuPipe?
SimuPipe is an online pipe network simulation tool for engineers. You build pipe networks visually using a drag-and-drop editor, configure components (pumps, valves, tees, reducers, tanks, and more), then run a hydraulic or pneumatic simulation to calculate pressure drops, flow rates, and velocities across the entire system.
How accurate is the simulation?
SimuPipe uses industry-standard methods: Darcy-Weisbach with Colebrook-White friction factors, Crane TP-410 K-factors for fittings, IEC 60534 for valve sizing, and ISO 5167 for orifice plates. The incompressible solver uses a Newton-Raphson approach, and the compressible solvers handle isothermal and adiabatic gas flow with Peng-Robinson EOS for real-gas properties. Results are consistent with established commercial tools.
What fluids does SimuPipe support?
SimuPipe includes 38 fluid presets with temperature-dependent property correlations — covering water, glycol solutions, thermal oils, refrigerants, and common gases (air, nitrogen, CO2, natural gas, hydrogen, and more). Pro users can also enter custom fluid properties directly.
Do I need to install any software?
No. SimuPipe runs entirely in your browser — there is nothing to download or install. It works on Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari on desktop. Your projects are saved to the cloud and accessible from any device.
Can I import existing models from EPANET?
Yes. SimuPipe can import EPANET .inp files, automatically converting the network layout, pipe properties, and boundary conditions. It detects the unit system and friction model (Darcy-Weisbach or Hazen-Williams) from the file and maps EPANET components to SimuPipe equivalents.
