Compressed Air — solved pipe network in SimuPipe

A 7 bar compressor feeds a DN50 header that tees into two take-off drops. The isothermal compressible solver tracks density along every pipe, so the same mass flow means rising velocity as pressure falls — visible in the per-pipe results.

The tee's run and branch losses come from the Crane TP-410 correlations at the solved flow split, not a guessed K.

Solved results Isothermal compressible solver, 5 iterations

Header mass flow0.2071kg/s
Header velocity10.05m/s

What this example shows

  • Isothermal compressible flow with real density variation
  • Crane TP-410 auto-K tee at the solved flow split
